The Exonerated
Lorenzo Scott started his acting career doing television commercials. This Brooklyn native can be seen in various commercials from Cablevision to the very popular American Express (which was accompanied by the print campaign). Everyone is familiar with his voice from the station identification voice-over for PBS-Channel 13. Recently,he was featured in the new PBS promo for their SundayArts show. With his success in television growing, he soon realized that theatre was fast becoming his one true love. He has performed in "You Can't Take It With You" as Donald . Since then he has done several stage plays (Huck Finn,where he portrayed Jim and supplied some of the off-stage voices and The Exonerated, where his portrayal of Delbert Tibbs was riveting, just to name a few.) He has also been working with the Living Theatre doing staged readings. "Working with the Living Theatre has been a wonderfully creative challenge and experience." Lorenzo can be quoted as saying.He also recently added perfoming Shakespeare to his growing number of acting credits.The Instant Shakespeare Co provided him with that opportunity. When not in a stage production, filming a television commercial or feature film, Lorenzo is a familiar face in print ads as a model. He has been featured in ads for Verizon Network, Absolut Vodka,and most recently in the new campaign for Viagra. A hectic audition schedule keeps him busy. Lorenzo was last seen on stage performing in the comedy "Lorna's L'elegant Lounge",where he brought to life the hilarious King Edward. Lorenzo will soon be seen in the upcoming feature comedy/drama "Sneakers & Soul".
